Description

Winemaker Corey Vandeleur was born and bred in McLaren Vale, and got his start at Maglieri Winery in 1990 under winemaker John Loxton. During this time he set up and planted what is now the Bellevue Estate Vineyard, before heading overseas to do vintages in South Africa, California and Bordeaux. On his return, he worked for Hardys Tintara Winery before creating the Bellevue Label. They produce only the one wine: this single vineyard basket pressed Shiraz which is made on site in their own micro winery, and fermented in small two tonne open fermenters. It is a limited release of only 600 to 1000 cases and sells out every year. Will cellar for 10 years or more if you have the patience.
